Important Prerequisites
Covadis 16 requires a compatible host software already installed.

• For AutoCAD: Covadis 16 works with AutoCAD 2020, 2021, or 2022 (64-bit).
• For BricsCAD: Covadis 16 requires BricsCAD V20 or V21 (64-bit).
• Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit).

Step 8: Install

1. Click Install.
2. Wait for files to copy (several minutes).
3. If prompted, allow driver installations (for the USB dongle).

Step 6: Installation Path

1. Confirm the destination folder. The default path is usually C:\Program Files\Geomnia\Covadis 16.
2. It is recommended to keep the default path unless you have a specific reason to change it.
3. Click Install.

5. Complete installation

• Click Install.
• Wait for file copying and registry configuration.
• If asked for a dongle driver – allow it (Sentinel HASP).

• Cliquez droit sur “Ce PC” > Propriétés > Sécurité et maintenance > Modifier les paramètres de contrôle de compte d’utilisateur. Mettez le curseur sur “Ne jamais me notifier”.
• Désactivez Windows Defender (Panneau de configuration > Sécurité Windows > Protection contre les virus et menaces > Gérer les paramètres).
