Older versions of Vijeo Designer 6.2 used a USB hardware dongle (Sentinel key) for licensing. The dongle itself carries a hardware reference:

Reality: If your original license was tied to a USB dongle (Reference VJDSNDT62USB), the serial number alone is useless without the physical dongle. Schneider Electric’s policy requires the dongle hardware to transfer the license. You must either:
