RAPTOR is a flowchart-based programming environment, designed specifically to help students visualize their algorithms and avoid syntactic baggage. RAPTOR programs are created visually and executed visually by tracing the execution through the flowchart. Required syntax is kept to a minimum. Students prefer using flowcharts to express their algorithms, and are more successful creating algorithms using RAPTOR than using a traditional language or writing flowcharts without RAPTOR.

Analysis Report: Windows 10 Version 21H2 Features on Demand (FOD) ISO Windows 10 version 21H2, also known as the November 2021 Update

, utilizes "Features on Demand" (FOD) to provide optional packages that can be added to the operating system as needed. These features are typically distributed via Windows Update but are also available as standalone ISO files for offline or large-scale enterprise deployments. Microsoft Learn 1. Key Features in Windows 10 21H2

While 21H2 was a scoped update focusing on security and management, it introduced several technical enhancements: GPU Compute Support

: Full support for graphics processing unit (GPU) compute in the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW). Enhanced Wi-Fi Security : Support for the (Hash-to-Element) standard to improve Wi-Fi security. Enterprise Management : Over 1,400 new Mobile Device Management (MDM)

policies were added to bridge the gap with Group Policy, covering areas like Task Scheduler and Event Forwarding. Windows Hello

: Improved support for external Windows Hello cameras on laptops with built-in cameras, specifically for docked or closed-lid scenarios. Microsoft Learn 2. Features on Demand (FOD) Overview

FODs are optional Windows feature packages—such as language resources or developer tools—that can be added at any time. Using an ISO to install these is the "best" method for environments with limited internet or for IT admins managing custom images. Microsoft Learn Common FOD Packages Included on the ISO: Windows 10: A guide to the updates - Computerworld

Option B: Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC)

A Note on Security and Authenticity

In the broader discourse of online downloads, the "best" method is unequivocally the legal, Microsoft-sanctioned one. Third-party websites offering the FOD ISO without a license often distribute modified or outdated packages, presenting a severe security risk. Features on Demand operate at the kernel and system level; a compromised FOD package could lead to persistent backdoors or system instability. Always verify the digital signature and checksum of the downloaded ISO against official Microsoft documentation.

⚠️ Important Warning regarding Public Downloads

While standard Windows 10 ISOs are available via the Microsoft Media Creation Tool, FOD ISOs are not available through public tools. They are restricted to volume license and subscription holders. Be wary of third-party websites claiming to host these files; they may contain malware.

About Windows RAPTOR Modes

Did you know RAPTOR has modes? By default, you start in Novice mode. Novice mode has a single global namespace for variables. Intermediate mode allows you to create procedures that have their own scope (introducing the notion of parameter passing and supports recursion). Object-Oriented mode is new (in the Summer 2009 version)

RAPTOR is Free!

RAPTOR is freely distributed as a service to the CS education community. RAPTOR was originally developed by and for the US Air Force Academy, but its use has spread and RAPTOR is now used for CS education in over 30 countries on at least 4 continents. Martin Carlisle is the primary maintainer, and is a professor at Texas A&M University.
